Men praised by PSNI for saving ‘floating and unresponsive’ woman from River Bann in Portadown

A faint noise from the River Bann in Portadown alerted two men of a woman who was ‘floating and unresponsive’ in the water during the early hours of Sunday morning.

The men, who had just got off the last train from Belfast, were walking towards Bridge Street when one of them heard a noise.

They looked over and saw a woman floating face up in the river and immediately ran down to the quay to help.
