The Dutch man seen Gurney off 13-2 in the last four encounter, before defeating Adrian Lewis in the final. Gurney, seen off Beligum’s Kim Huybrechts, before defeating Anderson and then Benito van de Pas to make the semi-finals. Meanwhile the 29-year-old has been drawn to face Jamie Lewis in next month’s William Hill World Darts Championship, which takes place in London’s Alexandra Palace from December 17 until January 3.
