Appeal for info after indecent assault

Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following a report of an indecent assault on a woman walking along the Ballyarnet Road on Wednesday morning (14th).

It is understood the woman was approached by a man at approximately 9.45am. He is described as being between 5'8" and 5'10", of a slim build and was wearing a short black top (possibly a t-shirt or football top), black bottoms and a cream baseball cap.

Anyone who was in the area and could help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Strand Road station on 0845 600 8000 or the 'Crimestoppers' charity on 0800 555 111.
