Dungiven fun run

POLICE are advising motorists that a fun run in Dungiven on Saturday next (August 30) will bring a large number of runners onto local streets and rural roads.
The 10km event is scheduled to get underway from the community centre at noon and the participants will make their way along Main Street and Ballyquin Road before running though country roads and returning to the centre.
The event is expected to last for about two hours.
Police and event marshals will be in attendance. Drivers are advised to be careful when encountering runners.
