DERRY City manager Stephen Kenny knows his team aren't going to have things there own way this Saturday when they travel to Sligo Rovers (KO 8pm).
The Brandywell men, who suffered a poor 3-0 defeat to St Patrick's Athletic last Friday, travel to the Showgrounds knowing a positive result is a must if they want to stay up with the big boys.
"Sligo's home record is very good and they have a number of good players in their squad," said Kenny.
"Mauro Alexandre de Silva Almeida, Romauld Boco and Matthew Judge are all good players, while they also have a few English players Chris Butler and Danny Ventre who have experience.
"However we have to pick ourselves up and make sure were don't feel sorry for ourselves after last Friday night's defeat."
The Dubliner is expected to be selecting from the same panel of players who featured in last night's eircom League of Ireland quarter-final tie with Bohemians, with new signing Thomas Stewart also in contention to get his first taste of Premier Division football.
The striker who has been training with the first team squad for over a week now, is cleared to play, as the transfer window opened yesterday (Tuesday).
Another man who possible could be involved with the first team in over a year is centre-forward Sammy Morrow.
The Northern Ireland Under 21 international played 90 minutes for the Reserve team in their 4-1 win ironically over Sligo Rovers, on Sunday, while Sean Hargan also got another full game.
"It's great that Sammy got 90 minutes under his belt, he did well, while Sean got another full game, so that pleasing, unfortunately Owen Morrison looks to be out. He had an injection last week in his knee, so we'll have to wait and see how that goes," said the City boss.
With the transfer window now open Kenny admits he's happy with his squad and doesn't expect much movement.
"Obviously we lost Paddy and replaced him with Thomas, so I'm happy with that and I expect to keep the squad, which I have at the minute."
