5. Festival of Fools, Belfast
The largest comedy, circus and outdoor arts festival on the island of Ireland, the Festival of Fools features over 70 performances taking place on the streets of Belfast City Centre and Cathedral Quarter. 6. Beginner Street Art workshop, Belfast
Running on Saturday, May 4 from 2pm to 4pm at Belfast Central Library, this is a crash course in street art, graffiti and stencil. Join street artist Peaball for the adults-only workshop where you will learn the foundations of graffiti-lettering, how to build your piece, how to choose the right cap for the right technique, how to make your piece pop in 3D, and how to create a graffiti aesthetic. 7. Guinness 7s Festival of Rugby, Carrickfergus
Tom Simms Memorial Park is getting ready to welcome a host of visiting teams and supporters for the annual Guinness supported 7s competition (May 3-5). The U18s competition kicks off proceedings on Friday, May 3 from 6.30pm. Tickets are also available for Saturday and Sunday's live entertainment, priced at £10 each.
